ROTHERHAMS Silver Pocket Watch

R1896

Rotherhams man’s open faced Sterling silver pocket watch made by Rotherhams of London who have been manufacturing fine watches since the year 1750 originally in Coventry, UK.  This watch is a lovely well running example of a nice husky watch at 49.8 mm diameter and the case is sterling silver and hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 with the makers mark for John Rotherham.  The white dial is signed Rotherham’s and is in very good condition with only a tiny tiny hairline which is almost unnoticeable at the bottom of dial. The fine black Roman numbers are clean and clear with a seconds dial at the number six position.  The hands are spade and are silvery/gold in color.  Full plate movement is signed Rotherham’s London.  The watch is pin set and stem wind and in lovely overall condition with an open shield on back of case waiting for your initials.

You will be proud to own this watch or present it to someone who will definitely enjoy wearing it.  Comes with a velvet presentation bag as always.  Ashton-Blakey has proudly provided pocket watches and chains for the Vintagers Club of America.
