ELGIN MEN'S HUNTER POCKET WATCH

E1372

Presenting  a lovely Antique well running  Elgin full hunter pocket watch, crafted in 1913. This timepiece boasts a 15-jewel grade 312 stem-winding movement, a testament to its quality and precision. The movement features a Mosely patent regulator, screw-set jewels, and a Breguet hairspring, elegantly displayed on finely patterned, fully signed plates.

The 50mm diameter case, crafted by the  Keystone Watch Case Company and adorned in gold fill, is a canvas of timeless artistry. Delicate engravings grace both the front and back, with an artful depiction of a stag on the reverse and an open cartouche on the front. The entire case is in impeccable condition.

Protecting the meticulous movement is an inner hinged cover, displaying some mild scratching—a testament to its journey through time. The winding crown, subtly integrated, opens the front cover with a gentle push.

A signed dial adds to the watch's allure, with original blued steel hands . A sunken subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers enhance both functionality and aesthetics. This pocket watch is not just a timekeeping device; it's a piece of history, encapsulating the elegance and craftsmanship of a bygone era.
