TACY WATCH COMPANY is actually a combination of the TAVANNES WATCH CO. and the CYMA WATCH CO. who merged and used the first two letters of each name to form the name TACY WATCH CO. This is a size 16 men’s open faced pocket watch whose model name is Admiral. Well running 15 Jewel movement, ref. 999 with 3 adjustments. Signed Tacy Watch Co. Admiral, USA Patent May 24, 1904. Perfect white dial with large bold black Arabic numbers and heavy blued steel spade pointers. Seconds dial at number six position. Dial signed Admiral. Nickel case in very good condition.

ENGLISH 18K GOLD – open faced Fancy pocket watch signed and engraved SIR JOHN BENNETT, WATCHMAKER TO THE ROYAL OBSERVATORY, LONDON with Coat of Arms engraved below on inside cover. Beautiful stem wind and lever set watch with ornate gold dial, black Roman numbers and black spade pointers. Back of watch is very ornately engraved with flowers and swirls as well as a shield in center with two small scroll engraved initials. This is a smaller sized watch at 37mm. Strong and well running two finger gilt and nickel bridge movement. Highly collectable and good looking 18K vintage pocket watch from the 1880’s.

Perfect white enamel dial with black Roman numbers enhanced by black Brequet pointers. Three finger bridge movement,nicely running key wind key set protected by signed 18K gold dust cover. 33mm diameter.

BRITISH ROYAL NAVY- MILITARY – Vintage Swiss size 16 open faced pocket watch made for the British Royal Navy. Pure Nickel -Swiss made case numbered 40488 same as movement. Back of case shows British Royal Navy broad arrow plus Adm. Patt. 300 for Admiralty Pattern 300 on back. Well running 15 jewel signed movement. Excellent white dial no hairlines with bold black Roman numbers and sunk seconds dial at number 6 position. Bold black spade pointers. An excellent collectible vintage military watch from the 40’s. 52 mm diameters.

ENGLISH - 9CT GOLD fancy open faced pin set pocket watch. 0 size. 31 mm diameter. Very ornate gold dial with black Arabic numerals set on gold track and black spade pointers. Inner section of dial heavily ornamented with gold flowers and vines. Gold dots comprises outer edge of dial for minute marks. Nicely running gilded cylinder movement. Back of case heavily engraved with flowers and swirls surrounding an empty shield ready for initials.

BRITISH - STERLING SILVER-RARE open faced pocket watch with black center sweep seconds. 15 Jewel, ¾ plate, stem wind, lever set running well. Perfect porcelain double sunk dial is original with black Roman numerals, and black minute markers and original silver spade pointers. 53 mm diameter. Sweep seconds models are very rare and this one is in excellent condition and was possibly used as a “Doctor’s Watch”. Heavy sterling silver case is fully hallmarked.

STERLING SILVER 39mm open faced key wind pocket watch. Gilded Swiss cylinder three finger bridge movement, just serviced. Excellent enamel dial with black Roman numerals trimmed with gold on the top and bottom of each chapter and a gold circle in the middle of this dial makes this a most attractive and collectible watch. Gold spade pointers. Back of silver double hinged case nicely engraved all over with leaves and curls. Open shield in center for initialing. Some minor wear to back of case, but overall very good looking. Original beveled glass crystal.

Sterling silver hunting cased Pocket watch signed by maker GASKIN, DUBLIN, Ireland in fine silver English hallmarked case. This watch is wound by the stem and set by the pin between the twelve and number one position on the top of case. An excellent white porcelain dial with black Roman numbers. Blued spade pointers and sub seconds at number six position. Very thin short hairline does not detract from this great watch, 14 Jewel ¾ plate gilt movement signed Gaskin. Dublin with number 77097. Running crisply and on time. 49mm diameter.

GIRARD-PERREGAUX MILITARY POCKET WATCH CIRCA 1940’S GP874 15 Jewel size 16 unadjusted well running lined movement. Silver nickel case in fair to good condition for this military watch. Stem wound and stem set. White excellent dial with heavy black Arabic numbers and sub seconds at number 6 position. Heavy black spade pointers. This Swiss watch made for the Canadian forces. Back of case has a couple of mild dings, military arrow and C – 6874. Movement signed Swiss and coded Girard-Perregaux.

Fine Sterling silver fusee driven open faced man’s pocket watch made by GRINBERG & REICHMAN Brighton. (Listed in Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World Vol. 2) Well running key wind key set. Excellent white enamel dial with black Roman numbers and brass color spade pointers. Dial has mild hairline between 4 and 5 position. Seconds dial at number six position. Dial signed by maker. Movement numbered 65737 also signed Grinberg & Reichman, Western Road, Brighton. Solid Sterling silver London hallmarked case with open shield on back in very good condition with only a minor tiny dig on edge. Diameter 48mm. Good looking medium sized pocket watch can be worn daily or for dress occasions.
